Inspiring song for a hardworking Monday.

I'm working really hard these days because I'm finishing college on Wednesday. If it all goes well (crossing fingers here) I'll be done with all the compulsory subjects of my degree. This means that next year I'll be able to do the Final Project and finally have my Architecture degree.
So these days are being a little hard. I've got my room full of papers, plans, 3D models... everything to get it all done by Wednesday. I'm listening to lots of music (days are so long and have to flavour them with rhythm).

This song I'm posting is from The Used and it's called "Sun comes up" from the album "Shadow Believer" that was digitally released in 2008 featuring their B-sides.

I really like the chorus lyrics:
The sun comes up and now you have a chance again,
the world falls down we all forget where to begin,
the world collapses and you hold it in.

Panton chair.

Verner Panton was a Danish designer who lived most of his life in Switzerland. He was really interested in plastic (a new material back then) and wanted to create a comfortable chair in only one piece. He contacted Vitra in 1963 as his manufacturer, and launched the chair in 1967.

Like the original ones, the Panton Chair Classic is available with a black, white or red laquer.

Nowadays, we can also purchase the Panton Chair in dyed plastic and matt surface.

It's one of my all time favourite chairs. I really love its shape and the way it fits you. It's a really comfortable chair and matches with lots of differents styles because of the shape itself and the wide variety of colours.

Big wall decoration.

I like simple painted walls, but I think that in order to pay attention to a certain space we need a big, and unique, decoration.

As I said, I love big decoration when talking about walls and I also adore maps (maybe because I'm always among lots of plans). I like maps of all kinds: old, new, subway maps, world maps, city maps... I've always wanted to do something like this:

 Long Island Map via

 Italy Map via

Another possibility is to have an "evolving" map. Whenever you travel to somewhere you've never been, you make a new mark on the map. I think that's perfect if you like travelling.

'weathery' pictures.

It's been raining a lot these days; and last night there was a very brave storm. Even it wasn't a beautiful night, there are really good photographies of these weather phenomena.
