Time vs. Me.

neon, sign, pressure

Oh my... Time flies soooo fast. We're Thursday already...
I need more hours, but definitely more organization with everything that is going on right now.

I really hope this brilliant neon sign is telling the truth, and only need pressure (once again) to work the hardest I can!

Summer love.

Steps to THE perfect summer:

1-. Watch this video
2-. Close your eyes and dream about it
3-. Think of an awesome place close to you
4-. Call some friends
5-. Put on your swimsuit
6-. Grab a towel, camera, food and drinks
7-. Go and have fun!

Happy sweet birthday! (I)

Today is the first birthday of this little blog of mine!

Pinned Image

One year ago I started Muffins in my backpack as a little "page" for me to write about the stuff I really love. I've known nice people with great blogs and I've found so many awesome things that I've really liked to share.

I hope this is the first of many good years full of great experiences.
Thanks for everything :)

Second of the dozen! (and lovely notes)

60 / 365

It's the last day of February; I've completed the second month of my 365 project! I thought I couldn't make it!

Here you have the photos of this month. Hope to reach the end of March!

Moreover, I want to thank Amber from Cosrard and Penpen. She decided to give me some of her love with this beautiful award. (Read more about the award here).

I want to continue it, so I've chosen 5 of my beloved bloggers; take a look at them :)

I'll try.

Starting January 1st, I'll try to do a 365 project; actually a 366 one, because 2012 is a leap year.

Now that I've said it, I have to try it! Good luck for me :)

It's not a song, it's THE song.

I know it's not Monday, but I've recently discovered this band and I can't stop listening to that song, so I won't wait until the next "Music Monday" (maybe I should start doing those posts again).
I needed an inspirational song; quiet but not sleepy, with a soft voice and a little bit dreamy. That's the perfect one, it takes me to a place I've never been, it's like I can start daydreaming right now...

It's called "Yellow brick road" by Angus & Julia Stone.

"Stay hungry, stay foolish".

This collage is my little tribute to this great man. Steve Jobs will be sorely missed.

I'm sure you've heard this speech, but here you have it, for you to listen to it once again.

Inspiring song for a re-starting Monday.

Last week, I could listen to a song I had been expecting so much! My favourite band ever recorded a new song after some years of break-up.
Enjoy "Up all night" by Blink 182!

I've realized that I'm not that into my blog these past days (maybe few weeks). I don't know exactly why, cause I don't have college right now, no job either... Maybe I'm not feeling inspired to post interesting things or thoughts. I wanted to do some photography projects but haven't started any of them.

Let's see if I get back here soon with good things done!

Journals.

I bought this set of 3 Moleskine ruled journals. Let's see if I get inspired with some "projects" I've got in mind!

Inspiring song for a hardworking Monday.

I'm working really hard these days because I'm finishing college on Wednesday. If it all goes well (crossing fingers here) I'll be done with all the compulsory subjects of my degree. This means that next year I'll be able to do the Final Project and finally have my Architecture degree.
So these days are being a little hard. I've got my room full of papers, plans, 3D models... everything to get it all done by Wednesday. I'm listening to lots of music (days are so long and have to flavour them with rhythm).

This song I'm posting is from The Used and it's called "Sun comes up" from the album "Shadow Believer" that was digitally released in 2008 featuring their B-sides.

I really like the chorus lyrics:
The sun comes up and now you have a chance again,
the world falls down we all forget where to begin,
the world collapses and you hold it in.

Getting started.

Everything has its beginning, so does "muffins in my backpack".

I'll write about all these little things that make my day: a lovely book I'm reading, a must-have piece of furniture, a day trip to a little village...

...everything that I can fit in my imaginary backpack!
