Last week through Instagram.

Tuesday was my first day to the beach this year! We went to Rostella beach, a little jewel :)
Wednesday off, celebrating that I'm already an architect, with my family.

Thursday beach day in Palamós, at the Castell beach, a sandy gorgeous beach. In the afternoon we went to Sant Hilari Sacalm, as we got to sleep in a treehouse! It was an awesome experience, and I highly recommend it. There was neither running water nor electricity! We had dinner up there on the cabin, and they served our food through a basket attached to a pulley! A brilliant dinner beneath the starry sky and some candles.

On Saturday, a little bit more of beach, and then I went to Platja d'Aro because two of my friends were celebrating their 25th birthday! It was a funny and loooong night with my girl friends :)

Right now I'm packing! We're off to Prague tomorrow morning! I love holidays!

Winter beach.

Last Saturday I went to the beach and took some photos. It's really peaceful at this time of the year, and I was able to try some long exposure shots, although the water was really calm.

Beech leaves.

We went to a beech forest last weekend.
Near where we live there is a volcanic area and a big beech forest covering lava flows from the nearest volcanoes. They say the best season is fall, so we took advantage of it and went for a walk on the afternoon.

Is was so beautiful to see all this vast area covered in red coloured leaves and listen to the sound of the leaves cracking as we walked by.

Experiencing the desert.

In our trip to Dubai we went to the desert. We went dune bashing and it was an amazing experience. It was like a rollercoaster!

Then we stopped and walked around for a while; no words for that! It was amazing to see that vast space with nothing but red sand. That colour was amazing and it almost shined because of that huge sun.
A little bit later we could watch the sunset, the exact moment of the sun setting behind a dune was really beautiful! Then the desert became darker and the sand got cold.

These are some of my pictures.

My first underwater experience.

Thanks to my friend Neus, who practices scuba diving, with a group of friends we did a sea baptism last weekend. It was totally awesome!

I was sooo nervous before getting into the water, I hadn't experienced anything like that, and I was freaking out! But when I jumped into the water all my fears disappeared and I was the happiest girl on Earth! I'm thinking about taking the Open Water course now. I would have never imagined that I would love that so much!

She owns an underwater camera so she toke these amazing pictures, and I edited them a little bit.

Tonight.

Tonight is a very special festivity. Here we call it "revetlla de Sant Joan" (something like "Saint John's night festival"). So long ago it was held on June 21 to celebrate the summer solstice.
People gather around a bonfire when the sun sets, have dinner and a typical dessert named "coca" (like flatbread pastries). The typical drink is cava (catalan sparkling wine).

Our group of friends are going to celebrate it at the beach, as usual. There's a little village near our city that is hosting a party at the beach with some ska and reggae music bands. We're going to chill out there all night long, and maybe have a really quick bath under the fireworks!

These are some pictures of how could our night be like. Have fun!
