I know it's not Monday, but I've recently discovered this band and I can't stop listening to that song, so I won't wait until the next "Music Monday" (maybe I should start doing those posts again).

I needed an inspirational song; quiet but not sleepy,with a soft voice and a little bit dreamy. That's the perfect one, it takes me to a place I've never been, it's like I can start daydreaming right now...

I've realized that I'm not that into my blog these past days (maybe few weeks). I don't know exactly why, cause I don't have college right now, no job either... Maybe I'm not feeling inspired to post interesting things or thoughts. I wanted to do some photography projects but haven't started any of them.

Inspiring song for a hardworking Monday.

I'm working really hard these days because I'm finishing college on Wednesday. If it all goes well (crossing fingers here) I'll be done with all the compulsory subjects of my degree. This means that next year I'll be able to do the Final Project and finally have my Architecture degree.

So these days are being a little hard. I've got my room full of papers, plans, 3D models... everything to get it all done by Wednesday. I'm listening to lots of music (days are so long and have to flavour them with rhythm).

This song I'm posting is from The Used and it's called "Sun comes up" from the album "Shadow Believer" that was digitally released in 2008 featuring their B-sides.

Inspiring song for an epic Monday.

Today I'm posting a very special song for me.

It was been a while without listening to it and, yesterday, I heard it again. It was in one of these courageous videos of the Saturday's Champions League victory of Barça. When I heard the first notes yesterday I almost started crying, it's such an emotional song.

It's from the soundtrack of the TV series Friday Night Lights (adapted from the book and film of the same name). I really loved this TV show although it finished a few months ago. 

The song is played by Explosions in the sky and the song is called Your hand in mine. This is the version with strings.

While doing the post last friday, I remembered how beautiful is the soundtrack.

The music itself takes you to a magical place, and it's perfect for a little daydreaming (and disconnect from work during three minutes).

I heard this song the other day and I was suddenly back in summer.

I think I'm not the only person here who remembers some places, smells, food, people...

When I first heard this song it was like two or three summers ago. I really liked it, so I repeated it over and over again. Now I remember staying at the beach with friends everytime I listen to it! That's awesome!

The song is called Weightless, and it's played by the band Nada Surf. (Everything it's beachy here!) It's a really peaceful song, I love it!

I sometimes listen to the whole album (Pushing the senses, from 2005) when I'm working and need some good inspiration :)

Today I'm showing you a band called Boyce Avenue.
People started listening to them through Youtube, because of their amazing covers of famous songs, and they also posted some original songs. They've released five cover albums digitally ("Acoustic Sessions" vol. 1 to 4 and "New acoustic sessions"). In 2008, they released their first album "All you're meant to be" and in 2010 their second "All we have left".

The song I'm posting is a beautiful cover of the song "I'm coming home" by Diddy Dirty money.
