Belgian autumn.

We've travelled to Belgium this long weekend and it's been wonderful! There were fallen colorful leaves everywhere and it was a gift for the eyes.
I've really enjoyed travelling at this time of the year as we're not used to see these golden-orangish landscapes here.

Dreamy islands.

I bought this book nearly two years ago, it's called Atlas of Remote Islands and is written by Judith Schalansky (here). It's pure beauty and it takes me to a gorgeous dreamy place every time I flick through it. Also, it's exquisitely designed; the sky-blue cover contrasts with the bright orange-yellow of the inside, but I adore the drawings above everything.
Each of the 50 islands included in this atlas are drawn by Judith Schalansky and they include a little story of the islands, as well as some information and data.

Every island is drawn at the same scale and it's so interesting to see the different sizes of the islands; some ones fit in the whole page and some others are like little spots on the vast ocean-like page.

I truly reccomend this book, even as a self-gift, as you can read it over and over again (and daydream, of course!).

Prague skies.

Yesterday we came back from Prague! It's been a lovely trip full of great walks around the city and discoveries of all the awesome things this pearl has to offer.
One of the things that surprised me the most were the amazing skies that formed at dusk. These are some of my favorite shots.

Travelling memories.

A friend of mine is currently living in Santiago de Chile for a year and she shared this precious video of a couple during their vacation in Chile and Patagonia.

The edition is so good, the music is so charming, everything's so cleverly thought...that you just want to jump in the first plane and start your own adventure around the world. It's such an inspiration. It truly made my day!

Experiencing the desert.

In our trip to Dubai we went to the desert. We went dune bashing and it was an amazing experience. It was like a rollercoaster!

Then we stopped and walked around for a while; no words for that! It was amazing to see that vast space with nothing but red sand. That colour was amazing and it almost shined because of that huge sun.
A little bit later we could watch the sunset, the exact moment of the sun setting behind a dune was really beautiful! Then the desert became darker and the sand got cold.

These are some of my pictures.

Enjoying Dubai.

I came back yesterday from my trip to Dubai. What an amazing city! I really loved it!
It was a quick trip to the UAE, but it was totally worth it!

I'm posting some of the pictures I took in the old city center, Deira, where all the souks are located.

Rome three years ago.

It's going to be three years of my trip to Rome. The relationship with this city and me has a little bit of "history", because it was the third time I tried to go there when I actually could visit it. The first attempt was a family trip, but I was the only one who couldn't because of final exams, it was in 2005.

In February 2008, I planned a trip to Rome with a friend of college. We arrived there, stayed a whole day but I had to go back home because of an anxiety attack. It was my first one and I got really scared, I didn't know what was going on with me, so I took the first plane home.

After that incident I did some therapy and I learnt how to control them. Unfortunately, life's hard sometimes, so it's something I'll have to handle (maybe forever) because it's the way I am, and I can't change that. Luckily for me, I'm getting more experience with that problem, and I control it better (always trying to find the positive side of things!).

Back in the story, in August 2008 I finally could visit this beautiful city and I have so good memories of it.

These are ones of my favourites shots of the trip.

Postcards from Vienna.

These are two of my favourite photos of last year's trip to Vienna. There was bad weather during the whole stay, and thanks to that I was able to do these shots!
